He excelled as an assistant coach with the Y.E.S. International European Team in the summers of 2003 and 2004, and was rewarded with the head coaching position in the summer of 2005. Lockhart also coached internationally at the 2003 Paris Conference Tournament in Paris, France.

Lockhart continues to work with the Jaime Dixon Basketball Camp at the University of Pittsburgh, where he coaches, tutors, and lectures hundreds of young basketball hopefuls. From 2005 thru 2007, Lockhart ran several clinics at Peabody High School in Pittsburgh, PA, that provided basketball instruction for players, ages 12-18. And, Lockhart has returned every year, since graduating in 1996, to assist his former coach, Thomas Fraher, with the Mount Saint Michael Academy summer basketball program in the Bronx, NY.

Professionally, Lockhart played two years of international ball in France and played for the New York Ravens Traveling Team, competing against top Division 1colleges around the country. At the University of Pittsburgh (1996-2000), Lockhart played for the 2003 National Coach of the Year and the 2006 National Championship runner-up coach, Ben Howland (UCLA). Lockhart is the all-time leading scorer at his alma mater in the Bronx, and led the school to its first New York State Federation Championship in 40 years.

Combining his enthusiasm for basketball with his desire to give back to the game, Lockhart is currently active in the sport on a local, national, and international level. He is a positive role model and has strong youth-affiliations in both New York City and Pittsburgh, PA. With a basketball career spanning 15 years, Lockhart hopes to continue his dream coaching. Lockhart’s knowledge, experience, and skills are undeniable assets for any basketball program.
